The Ensemble Affect string quartet makes its debut with an intimate house concert exploring the evolution of the string quartet, including its roots in viol consort music, as well as its trailblazers who pushed the boundaries of the genre they were inventing. The evening features music by Charpentier, Haydn, Isabella Lombardini Sirmen, and Joseph Bologne, as well as the chance to get to know Ensemble Affect’s core members on a more personal level.
